As well as camping for the first time last year, we discovered a new beach just over an hour away from our house; Birling Gap in Eastbourne is the home to Seven Sisters cliffs and is pretty spectacular – not only are there amazing photography opportunities, there’s also a brilliant cliff walk, rock pools to explore and a well-stocked cafe with plenty of ice cream and coffee.
